Seller Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 14 March 2026

1. Agreement to Sell

By listing a domain name on DomainAuctions, whether via auction or Buy It Now (BIN), you ("the Seller") enter into a binding agreement to sell the domain to a successful Buyer under the terms set out below.

2. Domain Transfer Obligation

Upon receiving full payment from the Buyer, the Seller must initiate the transfer of the domain name within 48 hours. The transfer must be completed through the appropriate registrar transfer process, including unlocking the domain and providing any required authorisation codes.

3. Failure to Transfer

If the Seller fails to honour the sale and transfer the domain within 48 hours of receiving payment:

  • The Buyer shall be entitled to a full refund of the purchase price.
  • The Buyer may pursue legal action under the laws of England and Wales to enforce the sale, recover damages, and claim reasonable legal costs.
  • The Seller's account may be suspended or permanently terminated at the discretion of DomainAuctions.

4. Ownership Warranty

By listing a domain, the Seller warrants that:

  • They are the registered owner of the domain name.
  • They have full authority to sell and transfer the domain.
  • The domain is not subject to any disputes, liens, or encumbrances that would prevent transfer.

5. Listing Accuracy

The Seller is responsible for ensuring all listing details are accurate, including the domain name and pricing. Misleading or fraudulent listings will result in immediate account suspension.

6. Auction Terms

For domains listed via auction, the Seller agrees to sell to the highest bidder at auction close. The Seller may not withdraw or cancel an auction once bids have been placed.

7. Buy It Now Terms

For domains listed with a Buy It Now price, the Seller agrees to sell at the listed price to the first Buyer who confirms the purchase. Once a BIN purchase is confirmed, the sale is binding.

8. Governing Law

These Seller Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from a sale shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
